This week has seen the completion of two full papers, one shorter report, and several Italian compositions; that is my excuse for not writing this week. Despite the flurry of work, and perhaps in part because of the scope of the assignments, it has been an enjoyable week. Last Friday, we went into our first Venetian museums, the Museo Correr, and the Palazzo Ducale. In the collection of the Correr was the original woodcut of Jacopo de Barbari’s famous map of 1500 the week’s first paper centered on.
