The big event this weekend was the Capitol Steps on Saturday night. This was a study group outing arranged by Dr. J (our teacher) and funded by Colgate. The Capitol Steps is a political satire group. They create and preform songs that make fun of national and international politics and current events. The weekend right before the election was a great time to go! Tuesday is election day. We all have work and then biochemistry class, but after class we are going to do something unique as a group. There are bars throughout D.C. that show the election results and provide an exciting atmosphere to come and watch. We just have to choose which one we want to go to.
On Wednesday I'm giving the class a presentation on my research and a scientific paper. I will spend most of my time this week until then preparing. I'll post again after!
